Go therefore and make disciples of all nations
Matthew 28:19
At Calvary Chapel Vineland, our vision for missions flows directly from Christ’s Great Commission. We believe the gospel is not merely a message of personal salvation—it is the declaration of Christ’s lordship over all creation. As such, we joyfully labor to see the nations discipled, churches planted, and cultures transformed by the power of the gospel.
Our missions work is not an optional ministry—it is the church's calling. As B.B. Warfield once wrote, "The gospel is not a mere matter of private concern; it is the world's one hope.” We believe that Christ reigns now and that His kingdom advances through the proclamation of the Word, the power of the Spirit, and the obedience of His people.
Currently, we support a number of missionaries serving primarily in Western and Eastern Europe—strategic regions in the battle for truth in a post-Christian world. These faithful men and women are on the front lines, planting churches, training leaders, and proclaiming Christ crucified, risen, and reigning.
You can view the missionaries we support below. Click under their photos to send them an email and learn how to pray and partner with them directly. If you'd like to financially support a specific missionary, visit the Give tab and designate your gift accordingly.
Let’s press the crown rights of King Jesus into every corner of the globe—until the earth is filled with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.

Guenther & Jennifer Weber
Gruenstadt, Germany
Guenther was born and raised in Austria. He met the Ippolito family 1992 when he attended Bible school in Austria. 1997 the Lord moved him to Gruenstadt, Germany to help plant a Calvary Chapel church there in the Rhine Valley. Since 2000 he has been the pastor of Calvary Chapel Gruenstadt. He has been involved in planting a couple other churches in the area and for over 20 years in reaching out to the next generation through youth camps. Since 2021 he also helps pastor another church south of Vienna, in his home country Austria. Jennifer grew up in California. She joined Guenther 2009 when they were married and has been very involved in ministry since. Together they have 4 wonderful children, the twins David and Jonathan, and their daughters Lena and Ella. David & Denae Downs
Turin, Italy
After 19 years in Italy, David currently is pastoring Calvary Torino where he is desiring to record a “whole Bible” archive in order to create radio and podcast content. Since December 2020, David has also been the president of a regional Christian Radio Station. Besides occupying herself with training, organizing worship leaders, and leading in worship herself, Denae has recorded and freely distributed a kid’s Scripture album called ‘Piu Forti’ and is currently working on project number two.
Please pray for a good resolution to the ongoing court battle for the regional Christian radio station. For a more permanent church building for Calvary Torino, and a possible purchase. For continued development of our leadership team and greater clarity with roles. Great distribution of the “Più Forti” scripture album project. Please pray for continued strength in marriage and family development goals.

Steve & Laura Cyr
La Rochelle, France
Steve and Laura are originally from Quebec. They have three children and have been church-planting in France since 2014. They have a heart for Jesus to be known and worshiped in France; a country where 2% of the population is evangelical and where many people have not heard the gospel message. They pray to see a new generation that will know and serve Christ. After serving in Bourges for 5 years and seeing a vibrant community grow, they have moved by faith to La Rochelle to church plant anew. God is faithfully opening doors for the good news! La Rochelle is a city of 75,000 people. They are focused on loving the people that the Lord brings into their fellowship, teaching the Word of God, as well as reaching out to the community around them.
Tyler & Alyssa Johnson
Montebelluna, Italy
Tyler and Alyssa live in Montebelluna, Italy where Tyler serves as the senior pastor of Calvary Chapel Montebelluna. They are joining in the church’s mission to share the gospel and make disciples, with a vision to raise up Italians to know and serve Him. Tyler first came to Montebelluna as a bible college student in 2012, and upon graduation started serving full-time in the church, eventually as the youth pastor, worship leader, and bible college teacher. In 2023, Tyler was ordained as the senior pastor of CC Montebelluna.
Rafael & Loretta Manzanares
Montebelluna, Italy
Rafael pastors an international church, called Santa Ponsa Community Church, and directs the Mallorca Bible School, affiliated with CCBC Murrieta. The church's motto is 'Heart to God, Hand to Man', and it runs several ministries, such as outreach to the homeless, to mums and toddlers, to the poor and needy in the community, evangelism in the busy Saturday flea market, and in the lively city centre of Palma, the capital. We have recently started a Spanish homegroup in Palma, and we are waiting on the Lord to grow it as a church. The church also supports other ministries and missionaries, in Romania, New Zealand, and Azerbajian.
